Substitute Paraprofessional to support teachers and students during
the temporary absences of regular paraprofessional staff. This role
is essential in maintaining instructional continuity and fostering
a structured classroom atmosphere for diverse learners across
multiple grade levels. Responsibilities: Provide direct academic
and behavioral support in both general and special education
classrooms Reinforce instructional materials and assist with
differentiated lessons tailored to student needs Supervise students
during class time and transition periods, ensuring safety and order
Record observations and assist with student data collection as
needed to support individualized learning plans Maintain
consistency in classroom management and uphold established
expectations in the absence of regular support staff
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required;
relevant coursework or experience in education or youth services is
preferred Background in education, youth programs, or behavioral
support is an asset Flexibility to work with various grade levels
and step into diverse instructional roles Dependable, professional
demeanor with strong attention to detail Effective communication
skills with both students and staff members Location: Yuba City, CA
This contract position involves substitute shifts offered on an
as-needed basis with no guaranteed hours. Qualified candidates
