Hours: 20-40 hours/week through June 30, 2025; 20 hours/week
starting July 1, 2025 (Flexible scheduling)
Work Location: Sacramento CA, On-site
Position Summary:
We are seeking an Endpoint Support Technicians to provide hands-on
IT operational support focused on IT Platform Services and Windows
11 Lifecycle deployment. Technicians will support routine
operations as well as key transition tasks related to Windows 11
upgrades. This is a part-time to full-time contract role requiring
reliable on-site presence and physical ability to manage hardware
installations and moves.
Key Responsibilities:
--- Work on-site at multiple office locations
--- Travel locally between offices as needed using personal
vehicle
--- Provide user and technical support for Windows 11 lifecycle
activities
--- Conduct computer user data and software inventory services
--- Perform lifecycle computer replacements (installation,
configuration, decommissioning)
--- Deliver technical assistance for hardware and software
issues
--- Maintain detailed inventory of users, hardware, and
software
--- Provide support for conference rooms, committee meetings, and
board meetings
--- Resolve assigned service requests via ServiceNow ticketing
system
--- Collaborate with IT Platform Services team to ensure
high-quality service delivery
Mandatory Requirements:
--- Ability to deliver complete and functional technical support
solutions
--- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform hands-on IT
support tasks
--- Availability to work on-site; some remote work may be
permitted
--- May be required to pass a medical exam and fitness-for-duty
screening
--- Strong ability to work independently and as part of a team
--- Experience supporting Microsoft Windows environments in
networked settings
--- Proficiency in diagnosing, maintaining, and installing PCs,
printers, plotters, and peripherals
--- Experience supporting operating system upgrades and hardware
lifecycle processes
Preferred Qualifications:
--- CompTIA A+ or other relevant technical certifications
--- Experience supporting executive or high-level board
meetings
--- Prior experience using ServiceNow or similar IT service
management tools
