Job Description:

I work for a Health Care Clinic in Yuba City, CA and we are looking for a Psychiatrist to join our team. Under general supervision of the Chief Medical Officer, the Psychiatrist isresponsible for evaluating, diagnosing and treating patient with mental, emotional,and behavioral disorders. The Psychiatrist will conduct thorough evaluations, developtreatment plans, prescribe medication and evaluate treatment results. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:1) Assess and screen patients by conducting psychiatric evaluations, includinginterviews, medical histories, physical exams, observations, and psychologicaltesting2) Analyzes data and results of assessments to diagnose patients3) Thoroughly document patient s diagnosis, symptoms, medical and treatmenteffectiveness4) Develops comprehensive treatment plans, measure progress against the plan,and make adjustments as needed5) Prescribes and administers medications according to diagnosis6) Monitors patient to determine efficacy and potential side effects of medications7) Consults with other medical professionals and psychologists8) Provides patients with emotional support and strategies to help manage theirdisorder9) Supervises and directs family nurse practitioners, physician assistants and othermid-level providers10) Other physician duties as assigned by supervisor QUALITIES & CHARACTERISTICS:1) Maintains a professional relationship and positive attitude with co-workers thepublic, patients and all staff, Board of Director and vendors2) Maintains the highest professional ethics and is honest in dealing with people; isa model for all employees through his/her actions3) Strives to learn more and is receptive to learning different ways of doing things Please provide your most current resume/CV.
