Job Description Emergency Medicine Medical Director opportunity
in Oakdale, CA Great opportunity to lead our Emergency Medicine
team, which will include 6 EM physicians and 2.5 EM Advanced
Practice Providers. Our model consists of 24 hours per day of
physician coverage and 10 hours per day of Advanced Practice
provider coverage. Key Responsibilities: - An acute care hospital
with 12 bed ED (all private rooms) 4 fast-track beds - Annual
volume of 20,579 with 4% admission rate - Average of 2.1 patients
per hour - Hospital includes 5 ICU and 30 med/surg beds - Level 4
Trauma goal in 2025/2026 - Radiology, including CT/Ultrasound and
MRI available during daytime hours - Specialty services include:
Anesthesiology, Interventional Radiology, Cardiology, General
Surgery, Mobile Crisis Psych, Orthopedics, Pediatrics, Wound Care
Qualifications: - Emergency Medicine Board-Certified physicians
will be considered (ABEM or AOBEM Board certification required) -
Additional certifications required: PALS, BLS, ACLS - Ideal Medical
Director candidates have a minimum of 2 years of experience leading
an Emergency Medicine team. Rewards and Benefits: - 1099 base
compensation of $275-285/hr for clinical shifts worked generous
medical director stipend. - Paid malpractice, including tail
coverage - Clinical shifts are 12-hours: 7 am-7 pm and 7 pm-7 am -
Flexibility with scheduling of clinical shifts. Living and working
