required License: Valid State RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS
Must-Have: Epic charting experience preferred Description: This
position involves monitoring and providing assessment for patients
who are exercising and implementing lifestyle changes post cardiac
intervention or surgery. It also includes providing support and
supervision for patients undergoing cardiac stress testing in a
noninvasive cardiology department. The registered nurse is
responsible and accountable for the overall management of nursing
care provided, ensuring competent, compassionate, and
cost-effective patient care from admission to discharge. The nurse
will ensure the safety, comfort, personal hygiene, and protection
of patients while performing disease prevention and restorative
measures. Responding effectively to medical and environmental
emergencies is also a key responsibility. Applying the principles
of the nursing process and complying with the policies and
procedures of the patient care services department is
essential.
