License: Active Registered Nurse license in California
Certifications: ONS certification; BLS certification; chemo-bio
certification Must-Have: - Infusion center-specific experience -
Chemo-bio certification from ONS (2-year cycle) - Experience
managing chemotherapy side effects - Skills in administration and
monitoring of chemotherapy - Proficient in the care and management
of ports and central lines - Knowledge of isolation precautions and
neutropenic precautions Description: The Infusion RN will work in a
fast-paced infusion setting. The role requires a strong
understanding of chemotherapy administration and related side
effects. Candidates will be responsible for patient assessment and
monitoring during infusion therapy. Attention to detail in
recognizing and communicating abnormal lab values is critical. The
RN will work variable days, including every other weekend.
Experience with Epic charting system is preferred. The position
involves managing cytotoxic spills and ensuring safe disposal of
hazardous materials. Collaboration with the healthcare team is
essential to provide quality patient care. A commitment to safety
