Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Interventional Radiology - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/02/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - IR Job Details: • Work as an Interventional Radiology RN with responsibilities in recovery room caring for patients from deep organ biopsies and angiography cases • Varied call nights and weekends with rotating weekend schedule required • Minimum 3 years of nursing experience required • Experience with recovery for deep organ and angio cases highly preferred (PACU experience) • IR/Cath Lab experience preferred • Required certifications: California RN license, BLS, ACLS • Must operate complex stationary and mobile diagnostic equipment • Assist physicians in various diagnostic and guidance imaging during invasive procedures • Educate patients on procedures, medications, contrast media, and associated biological effects • Complete routine and priority tasks within established departmental time frames • Epic charting system experience preferred • Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of assignment start • Minimum 2 years recent relevant experience required for submission • Must provide 7-year work history verification and 2 references obtained within the last year Facility: This major healthcare system operates a comprehensive medical center providing advanced interventional radiology services and diagnostic imaging capabilities.
