ACCOUNT CLERK We are accepting applications for: Account Clerk-Intermediate/Senior $3,307.20 - $4,536.13 Monthly+ Excellent Benefits The City of Yuba City is currently recruiting for Account Clerk - Intermediate/Senior. The position is a key part of the Finance team and plays an important role in the accounting functions and performs the bi-weekly, entirely in-house payroll for all the City departments. Account Clerks perform a variety of accounting duties with only occasional instruction or assistance. Account Clerks are responsible for maintaining detailed accounting records of all City incomes/expenditures or payroll. The ideal candidate will have a sense of urgency, strong attention to detail, and be able to multitask while managing frequent interruptions. The candidate must be able to work in a team environment and be committed to quality service and long-term employment. Basic knowledge of standard accounting and bookkeeping practices is required.
