Organization:SOPS-Sutter Outpatient Services - Yuba CityPosition
Overview:Coordinates daily distribution activities and ensures
competent control of supplies and equipment used in the care and
treatment of patients. Oversees receiving and unpacking of
supplies, rotating of stock and checking for outdates materials and
supplies as needed. Instills confidence and cooperation across
supervisors and managers through masterful job performance, and
stellar communication. Researches, advertises and adheres to all
local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies and procedures to
the privacy and safety of our patients. May also be responsible for
performing highly-specialized tasks and/or articulating department
responsibilities to visiting or new employees. Provides input for
changes to departmental policies and procedures as necessary. May
interact with vendors, special orders, and consignments when
working with clinical leads. May act as a backup to the supervisory
staff.Job Description :EDUCATIONHS Diploma or equivalent
education/experiencePREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED
IN:
- 2 years experience as typically acquired in a similar
environment.
- 2 years prior inventory, shipping, and receiving
experience.SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Knowledgeable of medical materials and equipment
terminology.
- Possess written and verbal communications skills to communicate
with fellow team members, supervisors, patients, and other hospital
personnel.
- Well-developed time management and organizational skills,
including the ability to prioritize assignments and work within
standardized policies and procedures to achieve objectives and meet
deadlines.
- Basic knowledge of computer applications, such as Microsoft
Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook),EPIC, and related
information systems.
- Interpret a variety of data and instructions, furnished in
written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Prioritize assignments and work within standardized policies
and procedures to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
- Work independently, as well as be part of the team, including
accomplishing multiple tasks in an environment with
interruptions.
- Identify, evaluate and resolve standard problems by selecting
appropriate solutions from established options.
- Ensure the privacy of each patients protected health
information (PHI).
- Build collaborate relationships with peers and other staff
members to achieve departmental and corporate objectives.Pay Range:
18.78-23.48The salary range for this role may vary above or below
the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been
adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by
area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into
account several factors including but not limited to a candidates
experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications,
department equity, training and organizational needs. Base pay is
just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter
Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits
