and consultative services to patients with communication, cognitive
and swallowing disorders under the supervision of Required
Professional Experience/Clinical Fellow (RPE/CFY) supervisors.
Adheres to state and federal regulatory license, certification and
accrediting requirement guidelines. Serves as an integral member of
the interdisciplinary care team. /n Job Requirements: /n/n
Education and Work Experience: /n /n - Master's Degree: Required /n
/n/n/n Licenses/Certifications: /n /n - Speech Pathologist
licensure in the state of practice: Preferred /n - Cardiopulmonary
Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS)
certification: Required /n /n/n/n Facility Specific
License/Certifications: /n /n - Speech RPE Temporary (RPE):
Required /n /n/n/n Essential Functions: /n /n - Serves as a
department role model and clinical resource. /n - Maintains and
advances professional knowledge and experience through continual
educational opportunities. /n - Assists in department operations,
as requested by managers. /n - Ensures patient, visitor and staff
safety. Identifies and reports potential hazards. /n - Collaborates
with other professional disciplines to plan, implement, evaluate
and revise individualized patient care and discharge plans, based
on patient medical record. /n - Performs other job-related duties
